The Modern Bar and Restaurant is seeking a full-time Line Cook – with at least two years of kitchen experience – to join our team immediately. One of our long time cooks is moving on to a new opportunity and has left us with the task of replacing this truly exceptional human being. It's a pretty big task! We'd love a cook who is curious and creative. We expect new employees to thrive in a team environment.

A successful Line Cook at the Modern is able to deftly perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients. Required Skills:

Proven experience as a Line Cook (willing to train for the right candidate)

Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen

Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils

A team player with good communication skills

Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
